Our Story

Three descendants of the Granny Mary Kathryn Jackson family, Christy, Christian, and Christopher, have joined forces to bring you a great tasting pure honey.  One can get a naturally sweet taste of the Carolinas' nectar from the mountains to the coastal flora.  The company’s goals are to offer you a great tasting honey at an affordable price while becoming your natural sweetener of choice. The roots of the honey business started in Mount Olive NC in 1972 when Christopher, with his father, gathered their first hive from a farmhouse in the middle of the pickle cucumber fields.  After enduring about 100 stings in a day, the learning process of how to keep bees and process honey began. Over the years, the members have created other successful honey companies across the southeast, and now as a family-oriented business. Our family brings you a mild sweet pure honey blend of the Carolina sweetness.
